The VitaraMapsLibrary.zip file will contain a folder named “VitaraMapsLibrary”.
Unzip the ‘VitaraMapsLibrary.zip’ file.
Stop WebServer (IIS/Tomcat or equivalent)
If you are existing user of VitaraMaps, take backup of all the customization files (mappinglayer.txt, shape files, dictionary files, etc).
Delete VitaraMapsLibrary related folders under MicroStrategy library plugins directory (if any exist).
Please do not keep any backup copies of VitaraMaps in the plugins directory.
Copy the folder extracted from “VitaraMapsLibrary.zip” file into the plugins folder of your MicroStrategy library installation. For instance if library server is installed under c:\tomcat\webapps\MicroStrategyLibrary, you will place all folders under c:\tomcat\webapps\MicroStrategyLibrary**plugins**
Replace the folders/files you took backup (mappinglayer.txt, shape files, dictionary files, etc) into the appropriate location.
Start the WebServer.
Flush any browser caches and access the web library dossier/documents from a new browser window (to avoid any issues with a previously used license file)
Configure Path for library app
You need to update the config path and point to the web server using the steps below.
After extracting the VitaraMapsLibrary plugins into plugins folder of MicroStrategy Library server, navigate to the library configuration page:
